A Message from Thurgood Marshall (174 kb)

My lecture tonight is a fictional letter that I imagine Thurgood Marshall might have written were he able to do so. Thurgood Marshall, as you know, was the lead counsel in Brown, the first African American to be named Solicitor General of the United States, and the first African American to serve as a Justice of the United States Supreme Court.
