SEF works with 11 HBCUs to expose a widening nucleus of faculty members, librarians and information specialists to state-of-the-art practices in using technology to enhance teaching and student learning. SEF provides expert seminars, training, and small grants to eligible schools. SEF also is helping some HBCUs acquire and use new electronic databases such as JSTOR.
